Both questions you ask before it goes to print.
Each returns a verdict, the reasoning underneath it, and the counter-argument the doubter reaches for.

When the name that built the brand was the name capping it.
THE DECISION
A personal-care masterbrand — a decade of equity in men's shaving — wanted to cross-sell into skincare and launch a women's line. Both were stalling.
THE ASSUMPTION
The problem was the product, the price, or the copy.
WHAT WE FOUND
The gendered masterbrand name suppressed conversion by 45–60 points, and copy couldn't buy it back. A sub-brand lifted male cross-sell +45pp; a standalone identity lifted cold female acquisition +60pp.
WHY IT MATTERS
Some brand problems are structural, not executional — the name fires before the claim does.
WHAT WE DON'T CLAIM
Where this stops.
- Not a legal or regulatory review. Claim Credibility tests whether a claim survives a sceptical buyer — it is not a substitute for legal, medical or regulatory sign-off.
- Signals, not a valuation. Brand Identity reads the tier and coherence signals your brand sends. It doesn't value the brand or price the equity.
- Directional before you print. A screen to de-risk the claim or identity before it ships — validate the winner in market for a high-stakes launch.
